For those hesitating on the brink of trying Acai berry for weight loss, here is news about a light at the end of the weight loss tunnel. A trial offer piqued my interest and I signed up. marketed as the “hottest” new diet food, I was less interested in the claims of anti-aging and more interested in how to get it. I don’t think I see Acai berry products at my grocery store, which could mean either its illegal or its too dear to part with unless by direct mail sales and distribution. Since Oprah has been promoting Acai berry products I doubt it is illegal, because I don’t think Oprah would support the sale of anything illegal.

Therefore I rationalized that the Acai berry product in its harvested extract or juice form was too perishable or too costly to import from the Jungles of Brazil and the Amazon without product control. Maybe someday Acai berry will be sold at the corner store, but that day is not today. There was even a discount on shipping if I acted “fast”, and since I had been wanting to get my hands on some serious Acai stuff for a while I figured this was the only way to do it. The Tropicana drink mix in the stores really isn’t going to cut it for me.

Normally I can detect a scam or anything fishy but this site seemed to honestly vend Acai drinks. I have tried other diet programs where you order food by mail and the concept of an appealing fruit drink definitely sounded good as opposed to the “Dinty Moore” style canned food and freeze dried stuff loaded with salt and gravy. I got my Acai berry drink stuff in the mail and have been on it for a few weeks.

While I can’t claim the dramatic weight loss with Acai berry seen in the pictures, aside from a few pounds I definitely feel my weight has redistributed itself in the right places. My workouts feel more purposeful with the calories and nutrition and fiber intake with Acai Alive, a positive change from the period before where I vacillated between diet programs and didn’t take any progress. I would recommend Acai Alive to someone serious about a commitment to lose weight and someone willing to invest in the right material to make weight loss happen.
